After spending over ten years in corporate jobs, I decided it was time to follow my own path and build something special. Balancing that with family life has been exciting and challenging, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Starting my own business felt like standing at the edge of a cliff, both thrilling and a bit scary. With a family to support, it was a big leap into the unknown, but I was determined to make a real difference.

I quickly learnt that passion is important, but it’s not the whole story. You also need to see if there’s real interest in what you’re offering. At first, I wanted everything to be perfect before launching, but I soon realised it’s better to get your ideas out there fast and learn from feedback.

Juggling family and a business hasn’t always been easy. I faced challenges like finding customers and managing my time. But every obstacle helped me grow and develop new skills while still being there for my loved ones. Sometimes it got lonely, so I built a support network by finding mentors and joining groups of other entrepreneurs for advice and encouragement.

I focused on growing my business naturally, little by little, rather than rushing for quick wins. Looking back, this journey has really changed me. It has taught me to be resilient and shown my family how important it is to chase your dreams, even when things feel uncertain.
